Sunny Singh, who is all set for the release of his film The Bhootnii on April 18, 2025, recently joined Rohit Khilnani on Lights, Camera, Podcast for an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama.

Talking about why he agreed to do the film, Sunny revealed, “I wanted to do a horror comedy, and I think when the discussion happened, Sidhaant Sachdev, the director of the film, was giving me the narration. I laughed a lot at that time.”
He admitted his curiosity about how the film would be executed. “I really liked it, but I asked, ‘How will you do it? What is happening? Who is there in the film?’” Sunny added. With Sanjay Dutt producing and actors like Palak Tiwari and Nick onboard, Sunny felt confident about the project. “Everybody has done a great job, and I was excited because it was my first horror comedy,” he shared.
Speaking about the film’s trailer, Sunny remarked, “I didn’t understand much about what was happening. Maybe they kept it that way deliberately, so people would go to theatres and find out.”
Sunny also opened up about his preference for narrations over reading scripts alone. “If I know the director is good at narrating, I will definitely hear the narration. Else, I’ll just ask them to send me the script. I’ll read it myself.”
Apart from The Bhootni, Sunny is working on the film Decibel with The Archies fame Dot, which he described as a ‘thriller’ and a ‘scientist’s journey.’ He also expressed his desire to explore action films, saying, “I’m just looking forward to cracking a solo action film.”
