Vivek Oberoi and his family visited the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj on Thursday, where they took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

Vivek expressed gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh government for the Maha Kumbh arrangements and shared his pride in seeing the world’s largest festival being celebrated in the country with immense love.

Vivek told ANI, “We have come here to thank God… We want to thank the government of India, especially the government of Uttar Pradesh, their administration, and every officer present here for making such good preparations. It feels very proud that today, the world’s biggest festival is being celebrated in such a beautiful way in our country.”

Earlier in the day, actor Vicky Kaushal also visited Maha Kumbh 2025 ahead of his upcoming film Chhaava, set to release on February 14. Sharing his experience, he expressed his joy and said, “I am feeling good. I was waiting to visit Maha Kumbh. I am fortunate as I got the opportunity to come here.”

Uttar Pradesh government officials reported that over 1.47 million devotees took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Thursday.

Among them, 5 lakh are Kalpavasis, while 9.79 lakh are pilgrims attending the ongoing Maha Kumbh, which continues to draw devotees from around the world for one of the largest religious gatherings.
